The Genius Switch, reviewed

An 8-minute audio track for $39. Here is what you actually get, and what nobody can promise.

Not an app, not a game: The Genius Switch is a downloadable audio file that you play in any media player, once a day, with headphones.

The sales video, presented by a man who introduces himself as Dr. Daniel Barone, pitches the track as a way to switch on “whole brain activation”. The seller’s own Terms take a softer line: brain entrainment is “not an exact science” and the products are “provided for entertainment purposes only”. This page sets out the offer, the claims, the evidence and the refund fine print so you can decide calmly.

  • $39 one-time; the seller shows $200, $100 and $49 crossed out, and checkout adds tax or local currency
  • One 8-minute audio track, played once a day with headphones
  • 4 digital bonuses, emailed to you right after checkout
  • 90-day money-back guarantee under the seller’s Terms and the ClickBank checkout

The product

What The Genius Switch is

The Genius Switch is a single digital audio track, 8 minutes long, that the seller describes as a “targeted auditory sequence”. The sales page heading also calls it the “Genius Switch Audio Series”. The Terms of Sale describe it as “a copyrighted digital article for personal use”. You download it, put on headphones and listen once a day.

The sales video is a 36-minute presentation by a man who introduces himself as Dr. Daniel Barone, a New York City neurologist. We could not verify his involvement, and the seller’s Terms say testimonials and feedback may be dramatized with digital avatars or actors. The pitch centres on “whole brain activation”, which the video says comes from syncing the two halves of the brain with what it calls “neural sync technology”.

It is not an app and not a game. Nothing is installed and nothing is played: the file runs in whatever media player your phone or computer already has.

“For Entertainment Purposes Only”

That is the title of a section in the seller’s own Terms of Service. It says: “brain entrainment is not an exact science and we recommend that you do not treat it as such. The products are provided for entertainment purposes only.” We think that is the right way to approach the track, and we write about it on those terms.

The routine

How ordering and listening work

  1. Order through ClickBank

ClickBank is the retailer. Checkout labels it a “Digital Product” and shows your local currency plus any tax, so the final figure can differ from $39.

  2. Check your email

The seller says the track is emailed immediately after checkout, and the checkout promises “immediate access” once payment is approved. Look in spam and promotions folders if nothing arrives.

  3. Download the track

Save it to your phone or computer. It plays in any media player, with no app or account needed.

  4. Listen for 8 minutes a day

The seller’s instructions: headphones on, eyes closed, 8 minutes once a day. The presenter says missing a day is “okay”.

  5. Keep your receipt

The ClickBank receipt email holds your order number, which you need for any delivery problem or refund request. The charge shows on your card as CLKBANK*GeniusSwitch.

Listening safety (our advice)

Keep the volume comfortable. Never listen while driving or operating machinery. If you have epilepsy, a history of seizures or hearing problems, ask a doctor before trying this or any other audio-entrainment product.

Claims vs evidence

What the seller claims, and how much is behind it

Everything below is a claim made by the seller in the sales video or on the sales page. None of it is a promise from us. We list each one with our read of the evidence.

  1. “Whole brain activation”

The seller says the track syncs the two halves of the brain and cites Roger Sperry’s Nobel Prize. Sperry won the 1981 Nobel for split-brain research, not for “whole brain activation”, which is the seller’s own term rather than a clinical one.
Evidence: Seller’s term, no direct evidence

  2. “Neural sync technology” in 8 minutes

The video says one hour of neural sync was compressed into the 8-minute track. No published study tests this track or that compression.
    Evidence: Untested

  3. Faster learning, better memory, “eureka” moments

The video also mentions children’s grades. Some small binaural-beat studies report short-term effects on attention or mood, but the evidence is mixed and none of it involves this track.
    Evidence: Weak and indirect

  4. Luck, promotions, money and relationships

On a casino story, the presenter himself says “there is of course no evidence to support that the genius switch caused that”. The same applies to the other money and luck stories.
    Evidence: No evidence

  5. Weight loss, quitting smoking, headaches and joint pain

These rest on anecdotes in the video, such as a 17 lb weight-loss story. A sound track is not a treatment for any condition, and the seller’s site carries the “not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease” disclaimer.
    Evidence: Anecdotes only

  6. Results from the first listen

The video says it “starts working the very first time you listen”, that “many customers notice a difference within the first two to three days” and that most people see results “within a couple weeks”.
    Evidence: Seller’s timeline, unverified

Brain waves or binaural beats? The seller says both

The video says the method “has nothing to do with brain waves” and calls sound waves “incomplete”. Yet the sales page lists studies on 40 Hz binaural beats and gamma stimulation as its references, including a 40 Hz attentional-blink study (Ross & Lopez, 2020). The two positions do not fit together, and the seller does not explain the gap.

What the research on binaural beats says

Some small studies, such as the one the seller cites, report short-term effects on attention or mood. Overall, the research is mixed: a 2019 meta-analysis found a medium overall effect on some outcomes, while a 2023 review found most entrainment studies did not show the brainwave change. No published study has tested The Genius Switch track itself, so nobody can say what it does for you.

Reviews

About the testimonials and numbers you will see

The video says the track has helped “18,456 everyday Americans” and mentions “stacks of five star reviews”. Those are the seller’s own figures, and we have not been able to verify them.

The video also features customer stories. We do not quote them, because the seller’s Terms allow testimonials to be acted out by avatars or actors, say some featured people may be friends or family of the company’s founders, and describe the results shown as exceptional and possibly not typical. For that reason this page carries no testimonials, names or star ratings.

If you want to hear from real buyers, look for reviews on open platforms where anyone can post, and give the critical ones extra weight. Our approach to reviewing products is set out in our methodology.

Price and refunds

What it costs, and how the guarantee works

$39
One-time payment. The seller shows $200 $100 $49 as reference prices.
Go to the order page
  • One 8-minute digital audio track plus 4 digital bonuses
  • Emailed right after checkout; nothing is shipped
  • Checkout shows local currency and adds tax, so the total can differ by country
  • 90-day money-back guarantee under the Terms and the ClickBank checkout
  • The video calls $39 a special price “not guaranteed beyond today”, an urgency claim we cannot check

The 90-day guarantee

  • The sales page shows a “90-Day Money Back Guarantee (terms apply)”.
  • The Terms say digital products are refundable “within 90 days of your initial purchase”.
  • The ClickBank checkout states a 90-day window from the date of purchase.
  • The video calls it a “100% ironclad money back guarantee”.

The refund page that does not fit

  • The seller’s separate refund page is a copy of a policy for “NeuroActivate” bottles.
  • It talks about 60 days, unopened bottles and a return address in Tallmadge, OH.
  • None of that fits a digital audio track. The Terms and ClickBank’s 90-day policy are the ones that apply.

If you want your money back

Keep the ClickBank receipt email: it holds your order number. ClickBank order support is on 1-800-390-6035, and the charge on your statement reads CLKBANK*GeniusSwitch. Product questions go to the contact details on the seller’s own site.

Our reading: the 90-day window is generous for a $39 download, but ask well before day 90 and keep a note of when you bought. Full refund fine print.

Before you buy

Points in its favour, and points against

In its favour

  • A low, one-time price of $39.
  • A short routine: 8 minutes a day, no app, no account.
  • Instant digital delivery by email.
  • A 90-day guarantee backed by the Terms and the ClickBank checkout.
  • The seller’s Terms are frank that the product is for entertainment.

Against it

  • No published study has tested this track.
  • The claims in the video, from memory to money and weight loss, go far beyond the evidence.
  • The presenter’s identity and involvement are not verified.
  • The video’s “not brain waves” line clashes with the binaural-beat references.
  • A leftover refund page for a different, physical product causes confusion.

Who might enjoy it: someone curious about audio-based relaxation or focus routines who is happy to spend $39 on an experiment and treats the 90-day guarantee as the safety net. Who should skip it: anyone looking for a treatment for a health problem, or anyone expecting the money, luck or weight-loss stories in the video to come true.

Questions

The Genius Switch FAQ

What is The Genius Switch?

It is a single 8-minute digital audio track that the seller calls a “targeted auditory sequence”. You download it to a phone or computer, put on headphones, close your eyes and listen once a day. It costs $39 as a one-time purchase, comes with 4 digital bonuses and is emailed to you right after checkout. Nothing is shipped.

Is The Genius Switch an app or a game?

Neither. No app or game is offered on the seller’s site, at checkout or in the sales video. You get an audio file that plays in any media player on your phone or computer, so there is nothing to install and nothing to play.

How do you use it?

According to the seller: download the track, put on headphones, close your eyes and listen for 8 minutes a day. The presenter says missing a day is “okay”. Our own advice: keep the volume comfortable and never listen while driving or operating machinery.

How much does it cost?

The sales page lists $200, $100 and $49 as crossed-out reference prices and asks $39 today. The video calls $39 a special price that is “not guaranteed beyond today”, which is an urgency claim we cannot check. Checkout shows your local currency and adds tax, so the final amount can differ by country.

What are the 4 bonuses?

The video lists a guided visualization from a creator described as top-rated on the Calm app, a smart grocery shopping guide covering foods the seller links to brain fog plus money-saving tips, a free copy of a classic book more than 100 years old about attracting financial success, and a printable infographic of 5 habits. All four are digital.

Does The Genius Switch work?

Nobody can tell you that yet. No published study has tested this track. Some small studies on binaural beats report short-term effects on attention or mood, but the wider research on them is mixed. The seller’s own Terms say its products are “provided for entertainment purposes only”. The outcomes in the video, from better memory to luck, money and weight loss, are the seller’s claims, not results anyone has verified.

Is it binaural beats?

The seller is not consistent. The video says the method “has nothing to do with brain waves” and calls sound waves “incomplete”, yet the sales page lists studies on 40 Hz binaural beats and gamma stimulation as its references. We point this out so you can weigh it yourself.

Who is Dr. Daniel Barone in the video?

The presenter introduces himself as Dr. Daniel Barone, a New York City neurologist. We could not verify his involvement with the product. The seller’s Terms say testimonials and feedback may be dramatized with digital avatars or actors, so we do not treat anything in the video as an endorsement.

Is it safe to listen to?

This is our advice, not the seller’s: listen at a comfortable volume, never while driving or operating machinery, and if you have epilepsy, a history of seizures or hearing problems, ask a doctor before trying any audio-entrainment product. It is not a treatment for any condition.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes, 90 days. The seller’s Terms say digital products are refundable within 90 days of your initial purchase, and the ClickBank checkout states a 90-day return window. The seller’s separate refund page is a leftover policy for physical bottles of another product and does not fit a digital track. Keep your ClickBank receipt; ClickBank order support is on 1-800-390-6035.

What will show on my card statement?

The charge appears as CLKBANK*GeniusSwitch, because ClickBank is the retailer that processes the order.

Can I get it on Amazon, YouTube or Spotify?

Not according to the sales video. The presenter says the track is not sold on Amazon and that audio found on YouTube or Spotify is not the same thing.

Is this the official Genius Switch website?

No. This is an independent review page published by OccHealthNews, and the order buttons are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The seller’s own site is geniusswitchoriginal.com, checkout runs through ClickBank, and the seller’s marketing emails come from GeniusSwitchOfficial.com.
